UNITED IN CHRIST BAPTIST CHURCH
Is a bible believing church, with Jesus at the head and the Word at the center of our Ministry.
Our Mission is to preach and teach the uncompromising Word of God, to win the lost unto salvation, and to edify and educate the believer in the Word of God.
What We Believe
The Scriptures (the Bible) Is the infallible, inerrant Word of God and, therefore, is the final authority in all matters both in the Church and in life. 2 Timothy 3:16-17
There is one and only one living and true God. God is Triune. God and the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. He is all knowing, all seeing, all powerful and eternally existing.
Jesus Christ is God's only begotten Son, who by the Holy Spirit was born of the Virgin Mary and took upon Him our nature, yet without sin. Matthew 16:13-18; 2 Corinthians 5:21
By Jesus' Personal obedience. He made atonement for our sins by His death on Calvary's cross, was buried in a borrowed tomb, rose from the dead and is now enthroned in Heaven on the right hand of God the Father.
We believe that a person is saved by his or her confession of sin in their life and their profession of father in Jesus' death, burial and resurrection. John 3:16; Rom 10:9, 10
Marriage is the union of one man to one woman, and is created, ordained, and sanctified by God. Gen 2:20-24 , Matthew 19:4, Mark 10:6 and Hebrews 13:4
There are two ordinances of the Church; water baptism by immersion and Holy Communion or the Lord's Supper. Matthew 3:13-17, 1 Cor 11:23-26
Satan is the adversary and enemy of God and the Human race.
The Church is a body of baptized believers in Jesus Christ who assemble regularly to worship God, study His Word, and to edify and fellowship with one another. Hebrews 10:24, 25
The Mission of the Church is to win the lost. The local church is worship God, administer the ordinances, educate the believer in the Word of God, and nurture the fellowship through the leadership of our Pastor. Matthew 28:18-20
